My birthday celebration.

I am now 63 years old.Wow time flies.I felt that i had recently celebrated my 50th birthday but then the 60's came and now i am 63.God is good all the time,He is a God who is faithful and true.My children had planned a short overnight trip outstation to celebrate my birthday,we had a good time as a family,all my children and daughters in laws and my daughter could make it for this trip.My husband  was in good shape and he loves when everyone is around.
I realize now that i must do the things that i have been putting off.Things like doing my beaded shoes with the beads which i have been keeping for so long,cloth which i have been buying when i could'nt resist buying thinking to sew into patchwork.I have wool and threads of many colors now which should i start first.I hope the next time i write in this blog i would have accomplished at least one project .
Now back to my birthday,my children gave me a lovely chain and a cross and a lovely bracelet,my hubby gave me a red packet and my daughter too.We had a dinner by the sea and watched the sun set,the quiet beach i could see in the distance with two fishermen casting their nets,wondering what their catch is,could be prawns or cockles.The food was good and we had a good fill and after that we had a walk at the park and watch children playing with soap bubbles and kites.Before that we dropped by a shopping center and my daughter in law bought a photo album and my daughter bought a pair of shoes.
We returned home the next day,all of them very tired but happy that everything went well and we are home safely,thanks to our God for everything.Amen.

    Hi Pinky, I forgot to ask before. Are you a Malacca Nyonya?
    And your mentioned of the beads.
    We had a beautiful Nyonya lady living where I am, and she speaks typical Malacca Nyonya Malay.
    But regret she passed away 2 weeks ago from cancer. She was from Tangga Batu Malacca, after Tanjong Kling.

      Hello Lee,Yes i am a malaccan.Sorry about your lady friend,i understand how you feel losing someone who was from your hometown and whom you can relate to.If you don't mind may i know her name?She could be someone we know or a friend's relative.Thank you for those lovely winter photos it looks like a white Christmas picture.If there is anything you want to know of Malacca i will try to to cherita to you if i can.Have a lovely day and keep warm.

    Hi Pinky sorry for not getting here earlier, but was upgrading my computer to latest as well upgrading my computer security too same time. Took me 2 weeks! As I'm not tech savvy.
    With regards to my mentioned Malacca lady friend...

    Hi Lee,thanks so much for writing to me.Thank you for being gracious to write to me even though sudah lama I did not write in.How are you doing Lee and your missus too.My Mum went home to the Lord recently and there was plenty of things to settle.My daughter in law had a baby so all these kept me busy.Glad to hear from you,keep in touch and always keep a song in your heart, Lee.
